A worker fell from a second-floor balcony to the ground while installing aluminum siding on February 21, 2018.
A worker was observed by a Ministry of Labour inspector working on a pitched roof without wearing fall protection as required by law. Fall protection contraventions are considered to be one of the ‘killer contraventions’ within the Province of Ontario and are treated extremely seriously by the Ministry of Labour.

A worker was killed after falling through a skylight in a building that was having new electrical equipment installed. The worker’s employer was Vollmer Inc., 3822 Sandwich Street, a multi-trade construction contractor located in Windsor.
