Accessibility

Our Commitment

HRS Group is committed to providing an inclusive, accessible, and welcoming environment for all clients, participants, employees, and visitors. We strive to ensure that our training programs, services, and facilities are accessible to individuals of all abilities, in accordance with applicable accessibility legislation, including the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

We believe accessibility is an important part of creating safe and respectful learning environments, and we work to remove barriers wherever reasonably possible.

Accessible Training and Services

HRS Group provides health and safety training and consulting services across a variety of environments. We are committed to supporting accessibility needs by:

  • Offering clear verbal instruction and demonstrations
  • Allowing additional time for learning or assessments where required
  • Supporting participants with accommodation needs whenever reasonably possible
  • Working with organizations to identify barriers before training delivery

If you require accommodations, we encourage you to notify us in advance so we can offer our services to the best of our ability.

Communication Supports

We recognize that effective communication is essential to safe learning. HRS Group can provide communication supports when requested, including:

  • Community interpreters for group training sessions
  • Alternative communication methods
  • Written materials in accessible formats where feasible
  • Adjustments to instructional delivery to meet participant needs

Accommodation requests should be made in advance whenever possible to allow sufficient time for coordination.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at HRS Group training locations and client sites where permitted by law.

If you plan to attend training with a service animal, we ask that you notify us in advance so we can ensure the environment is suitable and safe for all participants.

Where a service animal cannot be accommodated due to safety or regulatory requirements, we will work with you to explore alternative solutions.

Support Persons

Individuals who require a support person are welcome to attend training sessions with that support person (no additional cost).

If a support person will be accompanying you, please notify us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

Physical Accessibility

Training locations vary depending on the program and client needs. When training is delivered at HRS Group facilities or partner locations, we make reasonable efforts to ensure accessibility wherever possible.

If you have specific mobility or accessibility requirements, please contact us before your scheduled training so we can discuss available options.
