OHS Canada recognized HRS Group’s Jay Hennessy as part of the next generation of safety leaders at the 2024 Top 25 Under 40 awards ceremony at Palais Royale in Toronto on September 26, 2024.
In a world where everyone wants to “hurry up” and “just get the job done”, Jay is trying to slow everything down when it comes to health and safety in the workplace by showing employers, supervisors, and workers that it can be engaging and fun. Jay believes in giving everyone the knowledge and tools they need, to go home at the end of every workday.
Jay has also been a major contributor to increasing and perfecting the scope of services that HRS Group provides, which is going to take an already successful business, and make it better, for many years to come – not to mention he is doing all this while furthering his education.
Enrolled with the University of Fredericton, Jay is completing his Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems, with the goal of becoming a certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional, in the coming years.
Jay’s commitment to HRS Group Inc, the community of Peterborough & surrounding communities, and the industry is contagious. Jay’s work ethic and desire to build relationships, beyond the work itself, drives all staff to strive for the same. Congratulations Jay!
