The incident took place at United Hoist Equipment Ltd.’s office and storage facility located at 106 Commercial Road in Bolton. The company is in the business of providing personal and material elevators for the construction industry.

Following a trial, Advanced Construction Techniques Ltd. was found guilty on August 16, 2016 and sentenced in court on September 26, 2016 by Judge Brent Knazan.
