Jebco Industries Inc., a company that operates a coatings, linings and moulding facility in Innisfil, has pleaded guilty and has been fined $30,000 after a worker was observed working on top of a flatbed trailer without using a safety harness or other fall protection equipment as required by law. No one was injured.

Bombardier Inc. and its aerospace division has been fined $75,000 after a worker fell from a scissor lift at its Toronto facility, suffering a head injury and broken bones.

Swing N Scaff Inc., the Ottawa-based company that supplied the swing stage platform that collapsed on December 24, 2009, resulting in the deaths of four workers and significant injuries to another, has been fined $350,000 in Old City Hall court. A company director, Patrick Deschamps, has been fined $50,000.
