A worker, employed by Hung Wang Foods Inc., a company that operates a noodle manufacturing facility, suffered injury while attempting to clear dough that was jammed in a noodle cutting machine. Fred King-Cheong Fung, a director of the company, was also charged in the incident.

On a worksite of a warehouse under construction in Brampton, Ontario, an employee of Dematic Limited, a company that provides supply chain automation, material handling, warehouse management, became pinned between the guardrail of a work platform and a steel structure and died from the injuries. The accident occurred on August 06, 2016.
